WILDLIFE ART OF ADRIAN RIGBY WILDLIFE ARTIST

Adrian Rigby is an award winning wildlife artist whose wildlife art has populated the walls from America to Australia and from Britain to Saudi Arabia.

His wildlife art has appeared on the covers of magazines multiple times. In Fact his wildlife art renditions of hawks or falcons have twice been shown on the front of American Falconry Magazine. The ironic part is that they have hundreds of photos of live falcons to choose from but they liked his art so much that they have used it twice.

The Elephant Coast of South Africa used a wildlife art painting of Adrian’s for their tourism ad. They didn’t even request permission and just lifted it from our website. We never challenged them thinking it was hysterical that they used an image from a wildlife painting taken of elephants used as reference from Adrian’s photo safari in Kenya instead of using photos of elephants from their own backyard in South Africa. The image was used for years until they revamped their website.

Adrian Rigby is the only wildlife artist to date to have swept all three awards at Britain’s Wildlife Art Society, Overall Best In Show, Society Members Best In Show and Best Newcomer.

Most of Adrian’s wildlife art paintings derive from reference used by Adrian of photos he took in the wild but occasionally he has used zoos for hard to get photos such as the elusive Himalayan Snow Leopard. Adrian has juried  into shows such as SEWE in Charleston SC and the Waterfowl Festival in Easton Maryland. His piece titled Firebirds, (flamingos) was used for advertising in the streets of Wausau WI when his artwork was selected for the Leigh Yawkee Woodson Art Museum.

Adrian Rigby collectors of his wildlife art are on all sides of the spectrum from the person that saved and saved to purchase a small piece of art to the rich, (very rich) Arab Sheik and to heads of industry and even Lords from Britain’s House of Lords the equivalent of our Senate.

Even if you just like to window shop artwork, We sure hope you will enjoy perusing through these delightful pictures.
